This is Matrey Law’s famous strawberry cake recipe. It’s light and filled withstrawberry flavor.

Cake Pre-heat oven to 350℉
Prepare cake pans by lightly greasing the bottoms, then place waxed paper in the bottoms and lightly grease the waxed paper.
Beat toghter until smooth the following: boxed white cake mix, 1/2 cup cold water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Do not over beat as this will cause the cake to be tough and dry.
Add box of strawberry flavored gelatin, 2 tablespoons flour, and 1/2 cup thawed frozen sliced strawberries`
Add box of strawberry flavored gelatin, 2 tablespoons flour, and 1/2 cup of thawed frozen sliced strawberries. Beat well.
Pour batter evenly between the 3 prepared cake pans.
Place in oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. Check the cake layers with a toothpick to ensure that they are done.
Cool in pans for 10 minutes, and then remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks.
Frosting Mix butter, powdered sugar and 1/2 cup of the remaining strawberries.
Beat until smooth and fluffy. Spread frosting over tops and sides of cake.
When making the frosting, avoid using too much liquid from the frozen strawberries. This will make your frosting too runny.
This cake keeps well and is often better a day or two later.
